@philonetic eyron is shit and only little kids and people who dont know anything about cars like them… they can only go in a straight line and that is about it.. there are many cars with around half the power and less than 1/20th of the price that can sll do nurburgring faster than it… veyron is nothing in a straight line compared to other cars ith the same power..ssc with the same power and agera r’s can do everything except0-60faster.. but modified cars always walk on veyrons like supras.

It seems an F1 wins 0-300 (or atleast 0-290) from a dead stop. Not to mention, the F1/Aero 1 or 2/GTR/ZR1(even the Z06) would eat the Veyron alive on any track with corners. No Veyron has gotten over 0.98 lateral g’s, where the best recorded f1 tops 1.2g’s and Corvette just proved it’s dominance in their class (check nurburgring times). Veyron is a JOKE.

It’s just too bad that SSC did more with so much less, no? Veyron SS has something like 10 radiators, 16 cyl, quad turbo, low skidpad G, worse 0-300 than a McLaren F1, and costs 2.4 MILLION. You can buy 3 Tuataras or 20 2012 GTR’s or ZR1′s, all 3 of which outperform the Veyron SS in everything except a straight line (Except Tuatara beats it in every department, I’m just waiting for the unveiling of the 275+ top end, it’s already proven it’s skidpad G etc).

Shit car for track? Why is it in 4th place in the top gear test track times? Beating Gumbert Apollo S and Ascari A10 for example, and all the cars are driven by the same man, who is professional btw.

@philonetic but do you think the gt3 rs can reach 400kph? i dont think so….. yes the m5gpower, the gt3 rs, and some other car show 400, but their maximum speed is about 360-375 kph but they are tuned and it still can overheat, the veyron could stay at 407kph without overheating, fuel will finish first then the tire and maybe after the engine overheating ut after a long time, and i dont think it is over priced

@philonetic I dislike the bloody veyron but it has one damn quality (save for drinking gas and ruining tires), which is straight line performance – let’s not take it away from it. I’d rather drive a superkart on a track – they’re awesome. And since we’re here, having your ass 10 cm from the ground in a vehicle with no cup holders, ok make that almost no suspension, vs having it in a lexus/mercedes/veyron/whatever, kind of changes the way 200 km/h feels. It’s suddenly… a lot
