i’d take my 2003 carrera 2 with a racing clutch, 18 inch HRE rims (sizes: 235 front 275 rear), and fabspeed maxflo mufflers over a stock carrera 4s any day. I actually raced one around a local track and the guy couldnt keep up in the straights and out of the corners but he got me on braking and he had a higher speed through the turns

Only a SNOB would say that. Its a great car and so much fun to drive. The 997 is a better car, but because it built off the 996 and refined. So without the 996 there would be no 997. So screw you, the 996 turbo is not forgotten! It is a Legend.
