FOR PRICING & SPECS ON THIS CAR VISIT: www.kbb.com Mazda Tribute. With the looks and capabilities of an SUV and nearly car-like fuel economy, its no wonder crossover-SUVs are growing in popularity. And one of the first generation of crossovers was the Mazda Tribute, which puts a zoom-zoom spin on the popular Ford Escape. Welcome to our comprehensive Kelley Blue Book review of the Mazda Tribute. Nearly identical under the skin to its Ford and Mercury siblings, the Mazda Tribute offers a stylistic alternative inside and out. With good cargo capacity, an SUV-like view of the road and available four-wheel drive, the Tribute gives drivers the features they expect from a modern compact crossover-SUV. I believe the 2.5L 4cyl. engine is jointly developed by Mazda and Ford. This must be an older review as the new Tributes (and Escapes) have the upgraded engines and 6sp. transmissions since 2009.

We are thinking of buying one too. But we’re definitely not getting a V4. 4-cylinders don’t go well with SUV’s.

I was considering buying a 2008 V6 4×4… they’re alot cheaper then the Mariner and the Escape, not 100% for sure if I will buy one or not.
