@ActionBastard85 Good point…honestly, I think the Chevy has the best looking front end.

@happy543210 Umkay . . . have you looked at the Mazdas front end? It looks like a clown car.

I like the Ford but I’ll take the Cruze Eco.

@TheExactamente I agree…the Focus front end is disgusting! The Mazda should have been number 1.

@tinleo333
I doubt the Versa will go up so many slots in its category. The interior looks low rent which only compete with the ancient Yaris and Accent. It also looks ugly and lets think this again: Americans care about looks and these new Fords have great interior/exterior designs. Just look how many Fiestas or Focus are sold in base trim levels: minority. I think every car has its strong points, the Fiesta/Focus are more upscale and Versa/sentra are cheaper but more practical.

are some people really trying to sound like they know what they’re talking about when they say we should buy a friggin Versa??????!??!!?

Talk about ZERO driving feel….fine, if ur 80 and want a hatch then fine, sure the backseat is huge for being a small car….but damn…ugly, slow, worse than any of these in mpg, piss poor accelleration….bad breaks….idk what else there is to say, Nissans in general have horrible steering feel.

@luisinhoens90 americans care about space more than anybody in the world thats why the new versa is goin to outsell the fiesta ,and focus it will be in top ten you will see boy, last month the best selling car was the altima cvt,big car and all a human been need for 21,000$ jajajaajaja

@luisinhoens90 sorry pal but the versa is bigger on the inside than any of this cars in this video go to the dealer and check by your self and the new versa is coming out in 3 month go to nissan usa dot com and check is even better and if you want quality get a bmw 3 series used for 25,000$ and not a crappy ford jajajaajaj

@tinleo333
Another curiosity. If you mention the Fiesta is sooooo small why it´s outselling the Versa and every other subcompact?? It seems most Americans don´t care about that too small interior you mention.

@tinleo333
Sorry pal but I wouldn´t spent my money on a 5 year old design versa or 4 year old design sentra. Those cars are outdated and the rock bottom of their segment. Both cars scream cheap!!
BTW: Every car has its purpose. I´d be okay with a Fiesta because I´m 5″10 so I fit perfectly even in rear seats. Maybe you need extra space, but if that´s the case why are you looking in the subcompact/compact segment? I prefer better looks, technology, dynamics and interior quality. So Ford is ok

@garciapepe You Brazilians could be considered as lucky ones. In Singapore, basic 1.4L TSI 122hp Jetta cost SGD 116,800 which is equivalent to 95,000 US DOLLARS! If you can buy one BMW 7 series in Singapore, you can buy a ferrari and a lamborghini plus a BMW 7 series in America with same amount of money.

@gonzalezestates The Elantra is great! But I´d go with the Ford Focus!

@luisinhoens90 sorry pal that fiesta is too small the versa is better and bigger,cheaper too.
true the new ford focus is getting better but i think that a sentra for 16,000$ with cvt is hard to beat thats where i put my money or even better the versa for 13,000$.

@tinleo333
All those Nissan cars you mention are base models while the prices in those Fords you mention are for top trim levels.
I´m pretty sure that 20k Fiesta is more equipped than that Altima. The Focus is even more equipped. You can also take a base Fiesta for as low as 13k (14k with the 6spd dual clutch auto) or a base Focus for less than 17k. Those cars even in base trim are more equipped than a 4 year-old model Sentra with cheap plastics all around. BTW a Fusion is cheaper than Altima

I personally like the Hyundai Elantra the best.
3rd place is a nice place to be in such competitive segment.
Good job Hyundai! Keep up the good work!

I hate the grin on all the new Mazdas, they are great cars otherwise

The Focus is definitely the best of the bunch.
Looks better than the rest too!
Makes you wonder if these other auto manufacturers have been sleeping at the wheel.

@Block2Productionsmov

I have more respect for the Golf R than the GTI,but remember the ST Focus (if it will be called that in Nth America)will have 184kw(247 hp) and 360nm(265 lbf-ft),so it’s very close to the hp of the R and have more torque than the R.
If Ford decide to make the RS version of the Focus then the Golf R will be out of it’s league.I suppose the trump card in the Golf’s R side will be it’s AWD system.

@tinleo333 If that’s how you want to look at it. I’m am stating documented fact and am a auto enthusiasts not a brand enthusiasts therefore my method of judging something is completely objective. You on the other hand look at something from the your perceived views through the merit of a brand and not through the industry as a whole. It is what I like to refer to as a fan boy. Nissan can do no wrong in your eyes. Does it make you right? CVT are not being put into new models that are non Nissan.
