but while the first one looked odly amazing, this ones aerodynamics improvements make it kinda ugly.

1200bhp, 430kph, A/C, drives good at any speed, LOTS OF TORQUE, beautiful (arguable), W16 engine with 10 radiators and 4 superchargers… are you still talking about other cars? xD

Biggest trouble with buying something like this is that it will hardly be your everyday car. In fact, it’ll likely be collecting dust in your garage 99.643% of the time. And what use is that?

@holdenpi I’m not a fanboy of any car on Earth… I just like actual drivers cars. I hate the GT-R with a passion because its not a car you drive, you just hit the gas and it goes. It all depends on your preference. I can respect the Veyron’s engineering and its accomplishments, but I just dislike the way it gets there, and thats with very little driver input. Its only hard to drive if you don’t know how to… You can have the Veyron, just saying in this case I’d take the Agera R in a heartbeat.

@twztd28 i don’t think a million horsepower would make it handle better, but fanboys would look just at the numbers and just assume the agera r is better. the agera r is a possibly better car for those few who can handle the raw power and steering of the car. but to all casual people/fans and non elite drivers who can’t, the agera r is an equal or worse car because anyone can handle the bugatti veryron ss, yes even renowned slow/crappy drivers like james may even at 259 mph

@holdenpi I’d actually venture out here and say that if you have heard of Koenigsegg and are choosing to buy one over the rest of the hyper cars out there… Your probably a fairly good driver because you will probably know what your getting into. Why do you think a million horsepower would make the handling better???

@twztd28 they might have changed a little, but to change from a pure racing car to something that handles really well would be against their core idea. so i don’t expect the agera r to be more than a little bit better in handling. the problem is that 99 out of 100 drivers including people that might buy the agera r is that if they can’t handle the agera r with even a million horsepower, it doesn’t mean much. whereas even michael schumacher can at least appreciate the comfort of a veryron ss.

@holdenpi Well… when they tested the CCX they did so without the rear spoiler, which when not added to a RWD car that is pushing 800+hp is going to be a problem… The Agera has great grip and is literally pushed onto the track with tons of downforce. Its a little more difficult to drive yes… But anythings more difficult to drive then an AWD automatic Don’t you think Koenigsegg learned from that?

@uberenthusiasts Yeah and its not just cars, there are many other categories such as music where mainstream is garbage now and all good music is underground. It’s the same concept. Too bad because the Veyron is highly overrated. Sure it has a lot of engineering, but so does Koenigsegg and thats a small private company of like 40 employees building a car like that. Very rare for a supercar company that size to build engines in-house etc… Look out for the Agera R its crazy!

@twztd28 but the handling on koenigseggs is downright brutal, ask jeremy clarkson, richard hammond, james may, or even ben collins the professional racing former driver on Top Gear. He managed to spin out right in front of christian koenigsegg the designer of the agera r himself. If you’re not a very serious car enthusiast, or racing driver/professional, the koenigsegg is not that much fun to drive, let alone steer. ANY competent driver can handle a bugatti veyron.

@TrueCall A majority of people, excluding you, me and other auto enthusiasts, have knowledge of that cars performance or existance……my grandma knows what a Veyron is….that says enough. All I was saying was that, yes the Veyron may not be the fastest currently, but many people do not fail to recognize it as such.

@uberenthusiasts The Koenigsegg Agera R is the new fastest car. Less weight and +- same power and more aerodynamic=faster. Plus it has the fastest rated speed tires in the world on it custom made by Michelin. Peace out Veyron =)
