@SquirrelFromGradLife
I know and i say it again: the rolling shutter does (beside of the framerate, the LED trigger rate and the exposure time) affect the way the lights are flashing on the movie. period.
@corri303 No buddy, we actually what’s going on and why LED lights seems to be flashing on camera, it’s because they actually do flash, but so fast the human eye can’t register them flashing, If their frequency is different from the cameras frame rate then will appear to look funky. It’s like when you hit something moving with the correct frequency stroboscopic light it appears to be stopped in motion.
@SquirrelFromGradLife
Rolling shutter = every pixelline is taken at a differen time. Therefore the rolling shutter can be the reason for this circular kind of flashing.
@corri303 Rolling shutter have nothing to do with the LED lights flashing. Rolling shutter refers to a censors inability to capture vertical movement without making straight object appear bent.
The LED flashing simply appear when the frame rate of the camera recording is faster than the frequency at which the LED is flashing.
@corri303 thank you for explaining that…always wondered!!
for a car that expensive he should be intelligent enough to not drive on the fucking wrong side of the road
anyone else wonder how he is gonna get out? what a nice car tho
@AustinF12
All cameras do this depending on the exposure time and the frequency of the LED flashing. But if the exposure time is long enough for all LEDs to light up al least once while taking the picture, you will get a more or less constant bright image of the taillights. So theoretically it should get “smoother” at night, when the camera increases the exposure time to get a brighter image.
@corri303 why do only some cameras do this? or am i wrong?
The MFG on the license plate stands for “My Fucking God”
