\\What most of you people don’t realise is that the BMW 335i has been out for a few years already so the engine is a bit older and yet the new audi is slighly faster. Just imagine comparing the new 3 series and then see the difference.
The BMW N54 engine is bi-turbocharged/twin turbocharged. Call it what you like.
It has two small turbochargers, which are connected in parallel. Cylinders 1,2 and 3 drive the first turbocharger while cylinder 4, 5 and 6 drive the second.
Smaller turbos has lower moment of inertia and that’s why theres no turbo lag.
BMW as a straight 6 with 2 turbo one is smaler then the other one the reson for that is you won’t get a turbo lag but they’re are not twin turbo only V or W or boxer engin get twin turbo

The older S4 I drove was perfect in the snow. You cannot stop any easier but otherwise you can drive quite nicely.

S4 11.6 lbs of boost(psi) vs 335i 8.5lbs of boost(psi)
If both car will be puting out the same amount of boost (psi) the 335i will be faster and will put more power at the wheels.
The 335i is 200lbs lighter then a s4 . The bmw as 33 less hp and 25 lbtq less then the s4 the s4 as more hp per pund of mass but still the 335i is as fast on the straight that’s becouse the s4 is AWD and as a supercharger it takes power from the engin to power the idems.
A turbo car will put more power a lower boost then a supercharger Audi should have stik with turbos they need to bring back the v6 twin turbo with k04 on it this time.

@Geraltino01 Audi is more than 100 years even that the first Horch auto was produced in 1901 the actual company traces its origins back to 1899, BMW was founded in 1916 and started with vehicle productions in 1929, wrong info you have given.
this is brand new 335i 2009 to 2009 S4 difference is that Audi is winner as always.
RS4 has made so many dents into M3 production it was embarrassment to even watch and simply moved on.
