All you idiots (more than likely milking money from Toyota) are too blind to see that there are a whole lot more to this shitty problem than you can handle with your pea brain. I always thought this exactly. I’ve had 2 other vehicles with accelerator problems. On one the return spring for the throttle (old school car) flew off and the gas sunk to the floor. so i shoved my foot under it and lifted it up. Other vehicle some plastic piece broke and throttle suck wide open. I shut the car off and came to a safe stop. Its sad that people died because of this, but seriously, drivers need to have common sense.

@gasitman – people commented that the car was unresponsive completely though in said situations because the computer malfunction and the brakes/shifter became unresponsive, holding the power switch idk tho.
